    Scientific Interests:

    • Complexity and applications in laboratory plasma: Self organized criticality, plasma dynamics and particle and heat transport.
    • Continuous time random walk models, conventional and fractal Fokker-Planck equation, and test-particle simulations for the study of particle and heat transport.
    • Plasma instabilities and turbulence, particle dynamics in turbulent plasmas, solution of the magneto-hydrodynamic equations.
    • Interaction of electromagnetic radiation with plasma, with applications to plasma heating (ECRH) and current drive.
